The Future of Composting

If you’ve ever composted in your backyard or garden and it worked, then you know what wonderful soil it can produce. Composting provides everything your next garden needs to grow and produce for you.

Producing your own eatables is very satisfying and economical for us. We not only compost to help our yards and gardens but also to help return waste to the earth and keep it out of the landfills around your area.

Everyone composts. If you place all your yard clipping and kitchen waste out to be picked up and taken to the landfill then you are still composting technically.  The landfill is nothing but a gigantic composting pile.  It takes resources to pick it up and transport it, but it also creates jobs that have to be filled.

One of the byproducts of a landfill is methane gas which is burnable power resource.  What can happen when we start looking at a simple composting concept of a larger scale?  Would all of us be better off from it?

If you have never listened to a TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) talk then you are in for a treat.  They are very pleasant, learned and knowledgeable people presenting information with stories and humor.

Set back and enjoy the possible future of composting and the impact it can have.
