ADDING PERSONALITY TO OUR GARDENS

  • Think cinderblocks! These useful tools are perfect planters that add a perfect little charm to the garden. They are very inexpensive and can easily be gotten for free, with permission, from local construction sites maybe, or from a hardware store.

  • Putting some sort of outdoor sitting area can add a cozy feeling to the area. Plus, it can become a comfortable, easy place for the family and friends, and therefore get everyone outside more often. There are many cheap pieces to be found in thrift stores and that can even be built.

  • Fix up the fences. This can easily be done by adding a fresh coat of paint, or maybe sanding down the worn areas or adding a stain.
